On 01\/08\/12 Ollie Garland launched his single “Dry Your Eyes” at a special gig at the O2 Bristol Academy.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by about 70 young Ollie fans, patients from the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Radio Lollipop Bristol Volunteers.<\/p>\n
The event kicked off at 2pm with our very own Sally Prescott talking about Radio Lollipop and thanking Ollie for writing “Dry Your Eyes” especially for us.<\/p>\n
Ollie then did a set of his songs and some cover versions, finishing with “Dry Your Eyes”, which got the biggest cheer of the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Later in the evening Ollie came to visit Radio Lollipop Bristol to sing live during our show and went out on to the wards to visit some patients.<\/p>\n
