A team of Southampton General Hospital workers are preparing to take on the UK’s three highest peaks in 24 hours to raise funds for Radio Lollipop.<\/p>\n
The team of six walkers and two support crew will scale the heights of Scotland’s Ben Nevis, England’s Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in North Wales.<\/p>\n
The group have set themselves a target of \u00a31,500 which will buy art & craft materials and activities for Southampton Radio Lollipop for a whole year.<\/p>\n
The challenge, which takes place on June 12 and 13, involves 26 miles of walking with a total ascent of more than 9,000 feet as well as a drive of over 500 miles – and all within 24 hours.<\/p>\n
