The Thrilling Thursday team at the Mater Children’s Hospital welcomed Alissa and Clare from the Queensland Firebirds last week on 6 May.
\nThe kids had a wonderful time meeting with the girls and hearing about their exciting lives as professional netball players. <\/p>\n
They also loved receiving posters of the team personally signed by Clare and Alissa and even individual player cards with the girls’ pictures and player details on them. <\/p>\n
We also met a few mothers who were particularly excited to meet some Firebirds players. Each girl comparing stories about the netball positions they played or still play.<\/p>\n
