The time simply flew by when the Funky Friday team were paid a visit by Vlad, Dan, Kyle and Mel from the Royal Australian Airforce at Amberley.<\/p>\n
The kids and parents had a great time hearing about the everyday life of a pilot in the airforce and the planes they operate. They also got to hear about some of the other exciting jobs that you can do in the Airforce, like being a photographer.<\/p>\n
They brought along bags of goodies including RAAF teddy bears, yoyos, notepads, t-shirts and stickers which resulted in lots of happy faces and smiles from the kids. They also left a special bear with some Mater bear friends in the 7th floor wards for the nurses to enjoy.<\/p>\n
