Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Radio Lollipop Edinburgh quiz night on Wednesday 5 September 2007.<\/p>\n
The quiz was an overwhelming success with 11 teams taking part. Over \u00a3300 was raised for Radio Lollipop. The funds will be used to directly improve the service we provide to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
Congratulations to the \u0091Bamber Gascoigne\u0092 team who won the quiz with 81 points out of a total of 110. There were only 3 points separating the top 3 teams. \u0091Five Alive\u0092 came last with 45 points but they did not leave empty handed \u0096 they won the exclusive Radio Lollipop wooden spoons.<\/p>\n
Special thanks go to Mrs Barr for the fantastic buffet and to everyone at Sighthill bowling club for all their help.<\/p>\n
It\u0092s hoped that we will be able to make the quiz night an annual fundraising event.<\/p>\n
