Over the summer Radio Lolliopop Edinburgh have been running a \u0091name the bear\u0092 competition at all of our Roadshows. <\/p>\n
Visitors to the roadshow have had the chance to win our giant 6 foot bear simply by guessing its name.<\/p>\n
Because we are nice here in Edinburgh we even gave out a clue \u0096 our bear was named after a famous musician! We also gave our loads of clues during the roadshow and even played songs by the artist who our giant bear was named after!<\/p>\n
We had hundreds of entry\u0092s and a wide a varied selection of guesses. <\/p>\n

\nGummie (as in bear)

However the bear only has one name and there can only be one winner.<\/p>\n
The winner of the bear was Connor Murray from Saughton Mains in Edinburgh. <\/p>\n
Connor correctly guessed that our bear was called FREDDIE. Freddie was named after Freddie Mercury from Queen.<\/p>\n
Freddie will be handed over to Connor in the Radio Lollipop Studio shortly \u0096 Connor is even free to rename him if he wants to!<\/p>\n
