Jan McLean, from Dunedin, one of the world’s leading doll makers, has made each doll to the custom- designed features requested by each fashion designer. <\/p>\n
Twelve of New Zealand’s top fashion designers have each dressed a doll, inspired from their 2005 winter collection. <\/p>\n
Customised scale jewellery has been created to the designers\u0092 requirements by Chris Idour, Jeweller, Dunedin. <\/p>\n
The dolls’ faces have been made-up using Est\u00e9e Lauder’s winter 2005 palette. <\/p>\n
On Thursday May 5 2005, at the end of the exhibition, the dolls will be auctioned at a Grand Gala Dinner at Langham Hotel, Auckland (formerly the Sheraton Auckland Hotel). <\/p>\n
