Each year Edinburgh takes part in the Edinburgh
\nFestival Cavalcade procession through the streets of the city. The Cavalcade marks the start of the world famous Edinburgh Festival and is watched by many thousands of people from all over the globe.<\/p>\n
Although there are prizes for the various categories, most participants take part for fun. This year, Lollipop\u0092s entry was themed Planet
\nLollipop, with the motto join our world of fun! The
\nfloat depicted a planet with a Lollipop ship landed
\non it, with volunteers dressed as aliens and space
\ncreatures. Play activities and drawing competitions
\nwere also tied into the event. It was a great day,
\nand as usual the sun was shining! We even got a
