Transperth and Public Transit Authority\u00a0staff, Radio Lollipop volunteers and many schools and businesses across\u00a0Western Australia\u00a0also took part in the charity event collecting at train stations across the rail network, in the Perth CBD and at the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Transperth staff and passengers have supported Radio Lollipop for 17 years.<\/p>\n<p>PTA managing director Mark Burgess has seen Uniform Free Day grow from just Transperth&#8217;s metropolitan bus drivers into an initiative supported by staff from across the organisation, including train drivers, office staff and regional town bus drivers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast year, we raised just over $95,000.\u201d Mr Burgess said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the help of our passengers, we hope to go that little bit further this year, and top the $100,000 milestone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Radio Lollipop would like to thank all those who got involved and donated.
