Radio Lollipop Chairperson, Kate Harris, met with Somerset College childcare students from “Anne’s Group” to talk about Radio Lollipop and life as a volunteer for Radio Lollipop Bristol.<\/p>\n
The students have busy arranging events to raise funds for Radio Lollipop Bristol as one of their friends is currently a patient at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. \u00a0They have held a bake sale and they are organising bag packing at a local supermarket and will be holding a Valentines Ball!<\/p>\n
Their teacher, Anne Staboulis, was also a founding member of the Radio Lollipop Bristol team!<\/p>\n
Kate spent the morning with the class, talking about her experiences and offering advice about organising fundraising events. \u00a0Hobble the Wandering Bear also made an appearance!<\/p>\n
