Account Executive Michael Salvage from Dulux, came to the Radio Lollipop studio today to hand over the $2,400.00 cheque, along with Bunnings Nerang store Complex Manager Tim Wilson, Operations Manager Wayne Thomas and Future Leader Cherie Lace.

This was gratefully received by Radio Lollipop’s Treasurer Rene McKay, Play Coordinator Maria Hoult and Special Guest Co-ordinator Dougie Alderton. Maria, Rene and Dougie have been heavily involved in our new association made with Bunnings and Dulux and have already organised a commitment from Bunnings stores on the Gold Coast to come into the Radio Lollipop studio bi-monthly to carry out a variety of craft activities for the children, during Radio Lollipop session times.

A special thank you to Harbour Town Bunnings Activities Manager Jenny Dobson, who read about Radio Lollipop and wanted to come to the studio to see firsthand what we are all about, along with Burleigh Heads, Southport and Nerang Bunnings Activities Organisers, Nikki Grandland, Lauren Gourlay and Coral Ryan. Bunnings stores have already donated heaps of arts and crafts materials as well as over a $1,000.00 worth of much needed lockable cabinets, containers, trolleys and craft tables.

Dulux annually raises money at Easter for hospitals on the Gold Coast and has indicated their wish to make an annual donation to Radio Lollipop, having also come to find out what Radio Lollipop is all about.

We thank Dulux and Bunnings for their enthusiasm and support for Radio Lollipop and we are proud to be associated with them both and really look forward to a continued relationship into 2010 and the coming years.
