Once again our very own McKenzie sang to the children in the Radio Lollipop studio at the Gold Coast Hospital on Thursday 3rd December and filled our hearts with joy.

Our now honoured guest McKenzie is a regular guest at Radio Lollipop both on the Gold Coast and at the Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane. McKenzie has moved us all by the time and effort she gives by coming in for the children and her beautiful voice makes everyone smile.

McKenzie sang 8 songs, with a break in the middle to let one of the patients sing, before ending with “I still call Australia home” to rapturous applause.

As with tradition, after getting her hands painted for our book of fame, she made good use of the paint on our volunteers.

The children always love McKenzie’s visits, as well as all the volunteers and hospital staff who queue outside the studio to listen. Watch this space, as rumour has it that McKenzie will return very soon to Radio Lollipop Gold Coast with some friends.
