On the 2nd of September the Glasgow team shipped out to Shettleston in Glasgow for a fundraising roadshow.

The day involved taking over the car park of the local Tesco Superstore and the madness soon began. Lots of activities were organised for the day. These included a raffle where many prizes were up for grabs. Face painting was available and a bouncy castle for the kids (although some volunteers were tempted!!!).

Other events included stocks where the victim was subjected to copious amounts of water thrown over them. Music was supplied throughout the day and the volunteers rattled their buckets. The day finished off with a massive balloon launch where 1000 balloons were released into the air and the balloon returned from the furthest away location would win a prize.

All in all a great day was had by all and a staggering £1,288 was raised. Next years’ is already in the pipeline!
