Today was the annual fundraising event for Radio Lollipop New Zealand, which consists of three live children’s stage show.

This year it was the “Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. The event is organised by Southern Stars Charitable Trust and Radio Lollipop New Zealand is one of six charities that benefit from one of the six different shows they stage each year.

A total of $89,000 NZ was raised with a further $2,506.45 NZ through other donations and people at the show donating cash.

For the sister branches in Australia and the US there was some strange money in the boxes – $Aus2.00 and a US 1 cent coin!
