Radio Lollipop Birmingham’s New Video!
3 November 2013

Up and Coming Singer Songwriter shows his support for Radio Lollipop

Volunteers at Radio Lollipop Birmingham were recently filmed on the wards of Birmingham Children’s hospital, carrying out one of their regular fun sessions.

They are delighted that up and coming singer songwriter Sam Evans has adopted Radio Lollipop and offered his lovely song ‘Sharing is Caring’ as the music to accompany the video.

Amy Yapp, Fundraiser for Radio Lollipop Birmingham said, “When Sam got in touch to offer his support, everyone at Radio Lollipop was thrilled. He came and visited the children on the wards in Birmingham and Bristol, and played them some of his beautiful songs. He was touched by the work we do at Radio Lollipop and wanted to offer his ongoing support through his music”.

Sam’s music is a blended fusion of jazz, funk and reggae creating something incredibly interesting with his quirky vocal technique. The children certainly loved it!

Sam Evans, 18, said, “I was so impressed by the support that Radio Lollipop provides to the children. They bring fun to the wards and I’ve seen the difference it makes. No one deserves to be in hospital, so I’m doing what I can do to support them”

Please take a look at the video which shows a typical fun session on the wards. Enjoy and share!
