Radio Lollipop Monash supports the return of Scott Loxley to the Monash Children’s Hospital
20 June 2015

This week Radio Lollipop Monash in Melbourne held a special Star Wars theme in conjunction with the Monash Foundation who celebrated the return of Scott Loxley who raised over $96,000 walking around Australia (15,000km… 9,000 miles) in a full Star Wars Sandtrooper costume.

Scott said that as a father, if one of my children were hospitalised, I would want them to be cared for by the best staff who have access to the best equipment. I am a member of the 501st Legion, an international not-for-profit Star Wars Costuming organisation who give their time to raise much needed funds for varying charities. As a member, I believe I can help make a difference and support this terrific cause.

Radio Lollipop was delighted to be involved in celebrating Scott’s return. Check out the photo of Radio Lollipop Australia Director Lisa Leong with one of the Star Wars masks made by the kids to give to Scott.
