Radio lollipop gold coast’s juicy interview
26 October 2011

Radio Lollipop Gold Coast Volunteers, Harley Dhessi and Miriam Crowe, had a very juicy interview about Radio Lollipop on community radio station, Juice 107.3. The interview was to raise awareness of what we do at Radio Lollipop in the Gold Coast Community and to talk about Lollipop Day 2011 held on Saturday 29 October.

These days it’s hard to find a radio station that is safe for the whole family to listen to, but that’s what Juice 107.3’s ‘Good Taste’ community radio station is all about. Unlike other radio stations, Juice 107.3 is owned completely by the community, for the community. Their aim is to ‘bring a smile to your face, a swing to your step and a sense of hope to your soul’.

Juice plays the latest family friendly music, containing no swearing or vulgar lyrics. Their announcers do the same to keep the stream free of crude, offensive or negative content, so there are no awkward moments when the kids are in the car. They also offer helpful ‘life tips’ which are great little motivators throughout the day.

Thank you to Breakfast Presenter, Kingsley Colley and the Juice 107.3 Team, for allowing us to talk about Radio Lollipop and help spread awareness of what we do in Gold Coast Hospital. We love what you guys do in the community and hope to be back on the air with you guys again soon.
