Huge thanks as ocean colour scene fans support newcastle kids
13 December 2007

Radio Lollipop Newcastle would like to say a massive thanks to all OCS fans who donated to our charity at the Newcastle gig in the Carling Academy on Tuesday 11th December.

We raised a total of £332.60 to support kids at Newcastle’s biggest hospital through a difficult time this Christmas.

Your money goes to children on our children’s cancer, kidney dialysis, cystic fibrosis, general and surgical wards. Every single penny is appreciated as the children deserve every treat we can afford to buy for them this Christmas.

Thanks to the band for inviting us to take part on the evening.

Thanks also to Paul and his staff at the Carling Academy and above all, thanks to everyone who donated on the night. We hope you had a great night at this fantastic gig and send our thanks on behalf of the children.
