Radio lollipop forges ahead with southampton general hospital
3 March 2004  

The Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Radio Lollipop and the Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust Child Health Directorate was signed on Wednesday 3rd March 2004.

Sue Burr, Southampton Station Trustee and Karen Brown, Clinical Services Manager for the Child Health Directorate both put pen to paper, witnessed by Southampton Chair, Steve Read and Radio Lollipop Chairman, Hedley Finn, MBE.

The SLA is a written document outlining the partnership between the parties involved and details what each partner is responsible for.

Radio Lollipop, Southampton is now in it’s 10th year and exciting times are head as Southampton General is being redeveloped and improvements made.

The Southampton Station has an excellent working relationship with Karen and her team and many other people involved in the Trust. Special mention should also be made to the Voluntary Services Management Team of Kim Sutton and Sue Hebard, who have been wonderful in assisting Radio Lollipop in it’s continuing endeavor to provide care, comfort, play and entertainment to sick children and young adult’s in Southampton’s General Hospital.
