Paint the Town Red is Radio Lollipop New Zealand’s annual fundraising period, and what a great year it was! It was really cool to see so many volunteers participating in all sorts of fundraising activities. It was the first year we’d held sausage sizzles and a pub quiz, and we continued to hold bake sales and sell hundreds of Radio Lollipop pens to friends, family and colleagues.

The annual Paint the Town Red day was magnificent! The kids had an awesome time with the Shortland Street and Sticky TV stars, took whacky photos in the photo booth, got their faces painted and did all sorts of crafty activities.

After all the hard work, we raised a whopping $12,345. What a fantastic result! 2013 is going to be another great year with loads of exciting things set to happen throughout the year. We can’t wait!
