Play trolleys are go at gosh

A recent Wacky Wednesday session saw the launch of 21 brand new play trolleys for the Radio Lollipop team at Great Ormond Street.

The trolleys, partly funded by hardware store B&Q and the Friends of GOSH are used to carry arts and crafts, toys and games onto the wards.

“They are absolutely terrific” said Meena Valambhia, Radio Lollipop Play Co-ordinator at GOSH. “These trolleys hold everything we need for the play sessions plus more”. The volunteers and the kids love them too “These trolleys are fantastic, it really makes a difference to play on the wards” said volunteer Team Leader Julie Morrow”. “Our aim is to roll these out to the new station at the Evelina as standard” added Meena.
