Glasgow celebrates 12th birthday

Radio Lollipop in Glasgow celebrated it’s 12th Birthday on April 6th 2004.

The theme for the night was all things red and white from balloons to flags, trousers to shoes everyone got in the party mood which resulted in 12 volunteers doing the Cha Cha Slide in 4 year old Emma Cairney’s room on the Schiehallion ward.

All volunteers involved had a great night with the different activities that where being offered from face painting to a special Glasgow Karaoke party in the Playroom.

As the night progressed it was proving difficult to return the children back to their wards as they were having so much fun. Eventually they did
return to find a birthday cake on every ward from either Marks and Spencers, Asda or Safeway.

After the nights events and fun, Glasgow is now ready to party for the rest of the year to celebrate 25 years of Radio Lollipop.
