Hope4Health Supports Radio Lollipop Gold Coast

Hope4Health has once again selected Radio Lollipop Gold Coast as their chosen charity this year, with all proceeds from their annual Op Shop Ball donated directly to our organisation. The event successfully raised $600, which will be put towards new crafts, games, balloons and welcome packs – all the essentials for our Radio Lollipop volunteers to help put the cheer back into kids in hospital.

As a non-profit organisation, Hope4Health is a 1,000 member strong charity which aims to improve health outcomes for local, rural, indigenous and international communities. Hope4Health also host other fantastic fundraising events throughout the year to support other causes.

Special thanks to Alistair McCombe and Cameron Harrison for organising this donation and for their support.

Star Fundraiser visits Glasgow.

A 10 year old patient from Yorkhill Sick childrens hospital was a very special guest on Andy Gray’s Thursday night show on Radio Lollipop. Miss Jenny Cook has raised over £25000 for her great causes. Jenny answered questions and explained all about her Fundraising exploits. Jenny may also be doing a show once a month for us and we at Radio Lollipop are looking forward to sharing Airtime with this fantastic girl. Here’s a short video with some of Young Jenny’s exploits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA7XpADAud8

Sticky TV – Round The Bays Pre-Race Training with Radio Lollipop

Join the official Radio Lollipop Round The Bays Team for a night of fun and frivolity as we go through the paces with the crew from Sticky TV.

There is under one week to go before we take on the iconic 8.4km Round The Bays run and we need your support to help us get through.

This is your chance to meet the Radio Lollipop Round The Bays team, plus Leanna Cooper, Gerry Seth and Walter Neilands from Sticky TV, as they take us through a gruelling pre-race training programme.

Sticky TV will be filming fun challenges, boot camp style routines and a run around the Auckland Domain to test if the team is ready for the big race.

So join us from 5.30pm, Monday 3rd March just outside the Winter Garden at the Auckland Domain, for a night of fun, fitness and hopefully no injuries!

Auckland Round The Bays fun run is Sunday 9 March.

Watch Sticky TV, FOUR, 3pm weeknights and 7am Saturday.
