Radio Lollipop Edinburgh would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff and customers at Sainsbury’s South Clerk Street who raised over £1300 in the last year for the station based at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.

Ahoy There Maties! Cap’n Splinter, First Mate Burfoot and Long John Andrew Long brought some pirate fun to Radio Lollipop Bristol on Saturday 18 July. It’s the Bristol Harbour Festival and the Good Ship Lollipop Crew brought the festive spirit to the Bristol Children’s Hospital. Cap’n Splinter and her parrot Lolli Polly were at the helm of a pirate themed show and taught the children how to speak pirate and scared a granny, whilst the rest of the motely crew made pirate themed arts and crafts!! Aaaaaaaarrrrrghhhhhhhh!!!

To all past and present volunteers of Radio Lollipop Newcastle – a VERY HAPPY 33rd Birthday. We were formed on 14th July 1982, have had some famous visitors over time including a private visit by Kylie Minogue and some great events including the visit of the Lollibus during its UK tour in the summer of 2010.
