Radio Lollipop Edinburgh’s Golf in the Dark event a real hoot!

Six teams of golfers (and 11 marshals) braved the elements last Saturday (2nd April) to take part in Radio Lollipop Edinburgh’s annual Golf in the Dark event.

Hosted by Turnhouse Golf Club, players competed in the dark (and the wet) to complete 6 holes in a Texas scramble event.

The winning team were the Night Owls (Elaine Cleary, Gavin Cleary and David Evans) pictured below with Radio Lollipop volunteers Michelle Sinclair (Honorary Chair) and Elaine Craig (Event organiser).

Alan Craig, one of the golfers on the night said  “I’m not a golfer but I had a great laugh playing in the dark.”

Over £400 was raised on the night for Radio Lollipop Edinburgh within the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
