Mr Happy visited the Thrilling Thursday team in search for treasure in the form of smiles! With the help of our bright and eager Radio Lollipop volunteers, Mr Happy went about the hospital telling jokes and showing the children his magic tricks. And sure enough, there were smiles all the way around the hospital!

Thank you Mr Happy and the Thrilling Thursday team for putting smiles on the dials of all the children at the Mater Hospital. Mr Happy, we love your visits, and hope you will be back again very soon.

Sarah Williams from Smiling Eyes International came to visit Radio Lollipop Bristol on Thursday 19th April to present the Bristol team with a cheque for £150.00.

Sarah, who was born with Marfan Syndrome, raises money for different charities by completing a variety of challenges.

She raised the money for Radio Lollipop Bristol by completing a quad biking challenge.

The monies will be used to purchase board games and equipment for our badge making machine.

Fab Bristolian musician Ollie G came to visit Radio Lollipop Bristol on Wednesday 18th April. He brought his guitar and sang live during DJ Geminem’s show and talked about his passion for music.

He also met Hobble the Wandering Bear!
