Happy 30th Birthday Radio Lollipop Edinburgh!

Today, 3rd June, marks the 30th Birthday of Radio Lollipop in Edinburgh.

The station was launched at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh and has been going strong ever since. The volunteers are celebrating in style with a party at the hospital featuring a special Radio Lollipop balloon for each and every child at the hospital, plus a mega birthday show with all of the presenters taking part.

Boogie Beat Music & Movement Teddy Bears’ Picnic Week in aid of Radio Lollipop

Exciting news for Radio Lollipop!

Boogie Beat Music & Movement’s fabulous team of franchisees will be running Teddy Bears’ Picnic Events throughout the week commencing 10th June 2019 to raise money and awareness of Radio Lollipop.

The Boogie Beat Team has franchisees throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and everyone will be getting involved!

Boogie Beat Music & Movement sessions are based on traditional fairy tales with a lively and active dance twist, including the use of puppets, illustrations and music and they have devised a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic session for their Radio Lollipop fundraiser!

Moveathon Celebrations in Edinburgh

The Radio Lollipop Edinburgh Moveathon took place yesterday, Saturday 1st June, and raised £237 for the charity.

Great fun was had by all who took part in the 5k walk/run/cycle/scoot event, which took place along Cramond Promenade in Edinburgh.

The event marked the start of the 30th Birthday celebrations at Radio Lollipop Edinburgh.

Tickets Now Available for the Radio Lollipop 80’s Ball

Tickets and supporter packages are now available for the Radio Lollipop 80’s Ball which takes place in Edinburgh on Friday 4th October.

The event is being held at the Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel and forms part of the 30th Birthday celebrations for Radio Lollipop Edinburgh.
