Isoft staff make a good impression

Staff at iSOFT, an IBA Health Group Company, have nominated Radio Lollipop as their chosen charity for 2007/2008.

Their first fund-raising day involved staff at a number of iSOFT offices impersonating famous characters, and raised £390.

More fund-raising events are planned during the year so watch this space for more news and pictures.

We show them how it’s done

Radio Lollipop would like to give a big thank you to Real Radio presenters Steve McKenna and Paul Harper for visiting the studio after their real show.

Steve and Paul donated loads of brand new albums for the children as well as joining in with the wacky Wednesday crew. The boys were really impressed with the Radio Lollipop volunteers and surprised to see how well radio and play work in the hospital. They have promised to make regular visits as guest presenters and to also help with our presenters on training nights.

So big thank you once again to the boys.

North glasgow college adopt lollipop

North Glasgow College Students have been working very hard to raise funds for their favourite Charity. The HND Fashion students have been involved in bag packing , fancy dress , bike – riding in Millport and loads of other fantastic money making schemes. We recently attended a fashion show at the college and had a great time. Some wonderful designs on show, all produced by the students. On Tuesday night some of the girls and their Lecturer came in to present the cheque to Andy Gray . Sandra the lecturer and Emma , Errin ,Karmen and Lyndsey stayed for a couple of hours and presented the cheque for £3750 over and above another couple of hundred pounds already handed in. With more collecting cans still to be returned we anticipate about £4000 raised by the students from North Glasgow College. An added bonus was the visit of Karmen, second from left, who actually designed the winning Wedding Dress that was unveiled at the Fashion Show.
A big thank you once again to all the students and good luck with their future in the Fashion industry.
