Glasgow team pulls record crowd

Saturday 22nd May saw the Glasgow team out and about for the first time this summer. Lanarkshire District Girls’ Brigade were holding a fun day for all 430 of their members at Albion Rovers FC ground in Coatbridge. Hosted by Big Andy Gray and Smiley Stewart, the entire event lasted 6 hours with aerobics, dancing competitions, bouncy castles, pillow fights, arts & crafts, (temporary) tattoo sessions and lots, lots more!

As usual, Andy entertained the crowd and Smiley Stewart along with the rest of the team made sure that the hits kept on coming!

Albion Rovers FC played their final game at the ground a few weeks ago, and have struck a deal to ground-share with another club, so officially, Radio Lollipop was the last to play at the ground, and with Albion Rovers having an average attendence of 350 per game, we also broke the record for the crowd!

All in all, fun was had by all at this great record-breaking day!
