The springfield college supports radio lollipop brisbane

The students from class 4P at The Springfield College in Brisbane chose Radio Lollipop as the charity they wished to support and raise money for. The 23 class 4P students took on a project to work together with their teacher to set up a market stall within the school to sell Radio Lollipop merchandise to teachers and other students.

The student’s enthusiasm towards the project and selling lollipops, beanie bears, wrist bands and other Radio Lollipop merchandise was overwhelming. In just two weeks the students raised $1127.00.

To enable the students to see where their hard earned money has gone, the students will soon be deciding what items and products Radio Lollipop will purchase with the money they raised.

Radio Lollipop volunteer Russell Williams visited the school to talk to the children about Radio Lollipop and the work we do as well as award them with a Certificate of Appreciation to acknowledge their hard work.

Radio lollipop tube station appeal launched

The Radio Lollipop Tube Station project appeal has been launched on the Just Giving website.

The appeal is part of a fundraising project between Radio Lollipop at GOSH and the Great Ormond Street Childrens Charity (GOSH CC).

The project’s aim is to build a play area that compliments the existing Radio Lollipop studio, located inside a specially converted tube train.

Chairman of Radio Lollipop at Great Ormond Street, Andrew Kendall said “The launch of this appeal is one more step to making our new enclosed studio facilities a reality. I would encourage everyone to go online and make a difference to Radio Lollipop and the children at Great Ormond Street”

Espc charity of the year

Radio Lollipop in Edinburgh is happy to have been chosen as the ESPC (Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre) charity of the year.

Radio Lollipop is pleased that the ESPC will hold fundraising events such as a Radio Lollipop week – promoting the charity in store and selling Radio lollipop merchandise. Furthermore our logo is featured every week in the companies home pages circulating across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and the Borders.

This is great exposure for the charity and will generate a lot of money for Radio Lollipop at the Sick Childrens Hospital in Edinburgh.

We are delighted to be working alongside the ESPC. For further information visit www.espc.com
