The lobby of Miami Children’s Hospital was filled with yummy smells of Valentine baked goods, February 12th! Volunteers Juan, Linda, Rhoni, and Melissa donned Radio Lollipop aprons as they sold sweets and smiles. Under the direction of Juan, we sold wonderful home baked goods donated by the volunteers. Brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cakes and lollipops brought smiles to everyone and over $500 in proceeds. It was such a successful and fun event that we plan to do it again!

The Radio Lollipop Australasian Conference is being held in Auckland New Zealand from 4 – 7 March 2010.

Fox News Houston’s Melinda Spaulding spent an evening with Radio Lollipop Texas and found a lyrical escape! Fox wanted to share Radio Lollipops “miraculous” story with viewers. Ms. Spaulding caught the feeling and excitement of an evening in the studio and on the floors. She quickly learned “No night at “Radio Lollipop” is complete without a good old fashion line dance” and she just couldn’t help herself when volunteers and patients started to bust a move in the hallway. We enjoyed having her visit the crew and the story on Fox News captured the spirit and emotion of what volunteers enjoy each week.
