It’s hip to hop at radio lollipop

Guess who hopped into Radio Lollipop at the Mater Hospital this weekend? The one and only Easter Bunny, that’s who!

In fact, rather than travelling the conventional way by hopping into the studio, our furry friend shuffled in to the most requested song in Brisbane… Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO! And boy can Easter Bunny dance!!

The kids were cheering, and Easter Bunny handed out little baby chicks to all our little friends. High fives and hugs were the order of the day as were hand made bunny ears and Easter baskets.

Thank you Easter Bunny for taking time out to visit the children at the Mater Hospital!

Hobble the wandering bear!

Hi! It’s Hobble here! I helped with the Easter Giveaway at Radio Lollipop Bristol and had lots of fun!

When I’m not hibernating at my home at Radio Lollipop Bristol I love to go wandering to all sorts of fascinating and exciting places!

You can see photographs of my travels on Radio Lollipop’s Official Facebook Page!

Happy easter from radio lollipop bristol

Our volunteers put on their bunny ears to visit the wards and give out Easter Goody Bags to all of the children at The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. DJ Stom did a special show and Hobble the Wandering Bear made an appearance!

A special thank you to the children from class 8BI at Gordano School who collected Easter Eggs for us to give out.

West hagley beaver scouts visit radio lollipop birmingham

On Thursday 29th March, Radio Lollipop Birmingham were visited by 24 children from the West Hagley Beaver Scout Group. They were in Birmingham Children’s Hospital to present a cheque for over £1,400 raised for BCH on a sponsored walk. Whilst they were in the hospital, they just had to pop in to the Radio Lollipop studio and see what was going on. Luckily volunteers Aidan, Kaz, Jess, Yael and Polly were prepared, and we got the guys making balloon men and ran a competition for who could draw the best easter egg! We had lots of fun and we hope all those who came down from West Hagley Beaver Scouts did too, and had a safe trip home.
Thanks guys!
