We have been having lots of intergalactic space fun at Radio Lollipop in Bristol thanks to an amazing new community project with the launch of the Space Rocket Project #TeddyGoesToSpace which is being run in conjunction with the Medical Science Society and Space Exploration Society from the University of the West of England.

We have been busy building and decorating real rockets with the children at The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.  Once the rockets are finished we will be launching them into space.

One parent sent a message to us after her son had attended a workshops to say;

“I just want to thank all the staff at the Radio Lollipop/Play Centre in Bristol Children’s Hospital after my son was struggling in A&E last night you all made him so welcome and made an awful trip a whole lot easier by letting him come and play and “decorate his rocket” Thank you.”
