Pottery Painting Workshop at Radio Lollipop in Bristol

A big thank you to Crafty Monkey Pottery Studio for coming to visit Radio Lollipop in Bristol on Monday 13th June and for donating their time and arts and crafts for our Pottery Painting Workshop.

The children and volunteers had a lollipoptastic evening painting and decorating pottery animals.  It was great fun and everyone was very creative with their designs.

Gemma from Crafty Monkey took the finished pieces of pottery back to the studio to be fired in the oven and brought them back on Wednesday 15th June for us to deliver to the children.

Gemma said “Thank you for having us.  We had a great time.  Keep up the good work Radio Lollipop.”

More photographs of the workshop can be seen on the Official Radio Lollipop Facebook Page.

Hope4Health supports Gold Coast team

Gold Coast Radio Lollipop has once again received support from local organisation HOPE4HEALTH, receiving a cheque for over $1200.
In order to raise funds, Hope4Health organised an Op Shop ball, where guests dressed up in knick knacks found in various op shops. All ticket sales and donations from the night went directly to Radio Lollipop.
The Hope4Health Op Shop Ball has become an annual event, organised by students who attend the Gold Coast campus of Grifftith University. Hope4Health is a non-profit charity which aims to improve health outcomes for local, rural, Indigenous and international communities.
The Gold Coast team thanks Hope4Health for their continued support – the guests that evening were certainly an amazing sight!
